The US Department of Defense has put out a nifty guide on how to protect your privacy on social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Of course, they had to give this very readable and usable book a dull title which would make us civilians think it was boring and useless – DoD Identity Awareness, Protection and Management Guide. In spite of this dry title, I would recommend that anyone interested in maintaining what is left of their online privacy download a copy. Hats off to the DoD for a useful and understandable guide. Now, if we could just talk about those $900 toilet seats…
